Biopark: Japanese Garden

Posted on May 22, 2012

I visited the Albuquerque BioPark several years ago when it opened. It was a beautiful place. Over the years it has grown and matured a bit. One of the new additions is a Japanese garden. The central feature is a large pond fed by a waterfall structure. It was nice to walk past the tile topped walls as you enter the garden.

Sasebo is a sister city to Albuquerque. It is a thoughtful tribute to Japan to have such an elaborate garden in the center of town.
