Small Home India
Harshit Singh Kothari and Tanvi Jain have created the Tiny House, a small and affordable home designed as a model for simple living in Indore, India. Built with basic construction techniques using concrete and brick, this house is easy to replicate without needing special skills or expensive materials. It covers just 18 square meters, plus six square meters of outdoor space, yet it comfortably fits a family of four. Inside, the open design makes the space feel larger, with a flexible layout that can be adjusted to meet daily needs.
The house’s adaptable design, with features like a daybed that converts into a double bed, makes it a smart option for places like New Mexico, where sustainable, affordable housing is increasingly important. Its simplicity and efficiency could easily be adapted to the local environment, offering a practical solution for small spaces while maintaining comfort and versatility.
