The stoplight is already fantastically effective. It has been adopted in plenty of places. But there are a few problems. The lights burn out. Thankfully many of the lamps are being replaced with LED fixtures. At least many of the all important red lamps are.

If we are moving over to LEDs, why can't we have a bit of fun with things?
